Action Step #1
Make sure that you are not accepting credit cards. Change your processing to Electronic fund transfers as they cost much less. Large programs save on average $6,000 a month by making the switch.

How's your enrollment? It takes money to make money. It's worth the cost of 2 children's enrollment to enlist marketing support for your program. Our partner, Marketing 360 focuses on your program marketing all day, every day. We don't have anyone in membership that is using them that are not seeing an increase in their enrollments. This works, especially if you are in larger communities.

If you use U.S. Foods or Shamrock, you need to see what a national savings network can do to drive down your food costs. Average savings is $1,500 a month per site for those currently participating. Save 10-33% on your food costs.

Action Step #4
If you spend more than $1400 a year on hiring then you NEED CareerPlug. The TOTAL cost (ECEA Membership and CareerPlug year round) equals $1,368-$1,380 a year.

After you implement some of these partnerships you will have a great problem that will generate even more revenue for you:
Once your revenue does not fall below $30,000 a year, you can set up Sweep accounts with PNC Bank. They automatically move your funds in and out of interest bearing accounts so that you end up earning around $1,500 a month in interest that you were not previously earning!

Legislation that is Changing
It happens rapidly. It's our job to stay on top of when bills are being heard/discussed in committee. We can't get you to a committee to testify if you don't tell us you are wanting to do so. Please keep dawn@coloradoecea.org up to date on any bills you want to testify on!

Senator Scott Bright's CCCAP Solution bill is still working on stakeholder agreement behind the scenes before it is presented. We will keep you posted!
